You'll find much jealousy amongst the Mitsu members here. :smokin:
Gonna put some front/rear armor back on? Raise the fuel tank?
Guns_and_Roses 03-27-2011, 10:24 AM what is there to be jealous of?
Nice Rig Bro! Looks awesome!

Well the plan is !)construct the front and rear armor with winch mounts. 2)Stripping the side plastic panels. 3)Snorkel (i have problems finding it) 4)Changing the fuel tank to smaller one This works must be done in 14 days we have orienteering competition and at least this job must be done.

Oh, Kris, you're funny!:shaking::shaking:
A smaller tank for your use could be the Pajero Gen I SWB which used a 16-gallon tank on the leaf spring models, or 20-gallon unit on the coil spring models.
Snorkel should not be difficult to find, like ARB or Snorkel.com. Or, just construct your own with PVC piping.
88mitsu 03-27-2011, 05:53 PM That evolution is awesome!
What type or brand of tire is that? I like it!

The tire is made in Belarus(near Russia) Belshina Fbel 160 m. This tire is used for small tractor. :D

88mitsu 05-01-2011, 06:56 PM That looks like it is mounted too high. I think it might bend those factory bumper mounts.

i have other mounts from the back side, it is tested yesterday on competition and works good, no bents no cracks

that is the truth. i had to make a box to enclose my winch with its own mounts and then mount the bumper over top of it.

what is that rig on the left. looks like a bobbed first gen?
telius86 05-03-2011, 05:23 AM in my opinion you destroy a very nice and impressive car!
Stick L200 05-03-2011, 01:03 PM I agree, a rare truck now too.

i did not put the winch inside of bumper becourse it is hard to reach and almost impossible rapier during the competition. On this competition i broke the bolt that is holding the end of the rope, i replaced it in 5 minutes. Don't want to think how much time i would spend on it, if it was mounted inside of bumper.
The truck is Daihatsu Roky with portal axles from russian UAZ.

well there is nothing destroyed tomorrow i am planning to remove tires bumper body lift, put back original bumper and panels, to participate in off road rally in Iranian desert on 15th of May. :D after the Iranian competition put everything apart, mount 36 tires bumper and winch.

Good Luck in that rally!!
My bumper is aluminum and that was part of the reason i mounted the winch inside of it.

Is the winch mounted with a hinge so it can rotate forward?

Thank you.

There is no hinge those things are made for winch cable, not to spend time on winding it in.
