Kong's and I came up with a nice axle jig. So I thought I'd do a nice writeup on shaving, trussing and turning knuckles on a Toy housing over the next week or so. The plan is to turn the pinion up 25* to point at the t-case and put 8* of caster in the knuckles
to help control death wobble. Severe use has been bending even the '85 housings with 37" tires so we will be adding a nice beefy truss. This housing is destined for a coilover front end. Stay tuned......

Good stuff...three-link, four-link, radius arms? Please, some detailed pics about straightening a bent housing. The jig looks way clean!

Now you can build an all toyota rear steer axle and get the knuckles lined up easier.
Its going in a four link rig.
I will also be able to build custom width housings, left hand diff, Taco SAS housings, and full awn custom stuff. I have plenty of bent stuff to experiment on different straightening methods, so I will come up with something. I am thinking of just re-. tubing some ala custom 9" housings. Some .250 wall 4130 dom would make for some hella strong housings.

I look forward to your writeup on the jig and the cut and turn process. How far do you think you can go before you run into issues with the pinion bearing becoming starved for oil? 25* seems like alot.

Do you want to share drawings of the jig? If so, would you e-mail them to me.
TIA

Question,
If we were able to have the parts for the jigs produced in quantity to get the price down, would there be interest.
I'm thinking $390.00
