looking for input on converting my throttle linkage over to cable :)

Have found a few examples, and was curious if anyone has done something similar...

Picked up some linkage from the yard this morning.

this compact item comes from a volvo...has a build-in return spring:

I believe I used one of the brackets associated w/the cruise-control.

will be adding a stop to the skinny peddle to limit the throw...but seems to operate nicely :)

Because cables have a hard time pushing, but they excell at pulling!!

And this was easy for him to do in a few minutes, not to mention it works just fine.
