I ordered RCV axcles from ppoly performance
2/27/2011 waited 2 weeks called e-mailed finally recieved reply saying waiting on axles to ship. After 5 weeks with promises by phone and e-mail getting upset. More promises by phone and e-mail on 4/5/2011 cancelled order and ordered direct from RCV axles will be here in about 10 days. Do not know why I was lied to by poly but will not order from them again.

I don't know the specifics about your order but I believe we were told numerous different ETA's from RCV and none were met by them. I believe we also got told your order got pushed back because a bigger order was placed that took priority over our PO. Not our fault but sorry this happened to your order. If you need anything else feel free to shoot me a PM.
Thanks

My last axle order from RCV took 4 weeks and they had it in stock. Don't count on the 10 days.

I ORDERED FROM RCV ON A THURSDAY AND HAD THEM THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY. I HAVE LEARNED A VALUABLE LESSON. ALWAYS CALL AROUND TO CHECK WHATS IN STOCK. IF NOT IN STOCK, GO DIRECTLY TO THE SOURCE AND CUT THE MIDDLE MAN OUT.:mr-t:
Do you really believe that you were "lied" to ?
Me thinks you were given the information that the was provided to poly by rcv.
Accusing a respected merchant of lying is a pretty serious accusation and I would like to know what makes you believe that you were purposely deceived ?

I ordered a set of Rcvs through them march 25 and received them yesterday. Took 9 business day. Not bad at all in my book. when I ordered them he said there will be about a week wait before the ship. Tommy at poly had great customer service and answered every question I had. Will definitely be doing business with him again.

I only tell it like I see it. I have e-mail stating that the axles had shipped and to await a tracking number. No reply. It would have been easier for poly to call back like promised and e-mail as stated. I only am making the truth of there service to my problem known to others so they can expect hopefully a better experience.

Hey...
Don't bash the man for telling everyone his problems. If he had issues, he should be allowed to voice his frustrations. So don't jump down his throat.
This thread ISN'T going to stop me from placing MY order with Poly TONIGHT.
I just have to find my damn credit card...ha

Nobody is bashing him and he is being allowed to voice his issue.
I am simply asking him to clarify if he really believes he was lied to as in purposely deceived. That is a huge difference then being given a ship date that was not met and being lied to.
Ship dates are missed all the time in the course of business , but being lied to is a whole different matter.
If the op feels he was lied to I want to know more about it.
Just missing a ship date because the mfg didn't get the product to poly on time sucks but isn't worthy of black listing a vendor in my opinion.

We would like to set the record straight that Poly Performance was in no way at fault in this situation. They phoned and emailed numerous times to obtain the status of this order. We clearly overbooked our spline cutting dept in March with a 1000 plus shaft order and the service level suffered on some of the custom orders. By the time the customer contacted us directly the big order was complete so it was really just bad timing. We were unrealistic in our promise dates to Poly Performance. You might want to call Poly Performance back to see if they can help expedite your order with some upgraded shipping for no additional charge.
Thanks!
