Can anyone help me with getting the info on the following TSB?
It is relating to the bushing to needle bearing update that they did on the front spindles for the front drive axles on the 86 4Runners. I can get the part# for the bushing but not the one for the bearing.
DRIV003 APR 90 Driveline - Front Axle Support Bushing Modified
TIA

That is where I got the TSB number. However I would prefer not to purchase a membership for the sake of one part#. My Local Toy dealers do not know anything about this, which doesn't surprise me cause it seems I know more about toyotas then they do :rolleyes:

I worked at a Toyota dealer (in parts) for 9 years but I've never heard of this TSB. I still work there part-time so I'll do a search on the TSB number tomorrow and post anything I come up with.

Cool!! Thanks, if you could get me the Part# for the needle bearings in the spindle for the shaft would help me a lot! :beer:
Look for the part # on a 94 truck - should be the correct needle bearing part, you can just swap it in :confused:

Oh, and the front drive axles come off most easily with a torch. You'll have to replace the flame damaged ones with a solid axle. :flipoff2:
I'm ashamed of all of you. :D Normally "SAS!" is the first reply. :confused:
When did we start being all polite and helpful?

I found it, here are the part numbers ;
Bearing = 90364-30011
Thrust Bushing = 90381-32001
Grease = 08887-80219
The TSB number I found was DL94-001, dated 10/14/94. Both the bushing (different from original) and bearing are required for the TSB. If you want me to email you the actual TSB give me your email addy.
Good luck.
