Doing a 420 conv on Josh Lacey's fj55. The 420 that we scored has a cracked nose cone. :(
If any one in the sac/stkn area has one they can part with, that would be great!. Josh works out of his rig and it is his daily driver so we need to find one as soon as possible. I will do the rounds at the local yards today. but if anybody has one they are willing to part with, please call me (209) 465-7524.

Don I have 2 junkers down at the farm in the scrap pile, have not looked them over real close, they were left out in the weather and rusted inside, if you don't find one let me know, it would be Monday before I could get one out of Texas to ya' if one is good.
What you are calling a "nose cone" is the front bearing retainer...the part the throwout bearing slides on..right?

Yup:D the oil seal type (not the early oil slinger type)

I have one but I think it is the older type.
It also has the piece of tubing slid over it to allow use of the Toyota Throwout bearing..
You can have it if you want...

Don, I'm coming into town tomorrow at about noon. I'll bring a nose cone and a seal to go with it.

BTW does anyone down there want a front seat assembly out of a FJ45 . it's the bench type, I've got no place to store it so I'd rather give it away than risk leaving it out in the weather.
