Sorry guys for the delay...

It may not be true "pirate" build here, but it made for a good time with my family in the outdoors. That is what matters in my opinion.

Made it out this weekend for the first madien run. It was a State Park but not a "offroad" site.
Its a 1993 Coleman Destiny that I picked up for $500 last summer. It was the stripped down model, and pretty much the smallest coleman made. But weather tight and the canvass was pretty damn good for a 18yr old camper. I've added Battery power, Propane setups, A/C, Indoor/outdoor Radio and speakers, Curb Side lights. And of course the "offroad" mods. I've dropped the suspension mounts with a 5" c-channel subframe. Took a 3500lb Boat Axle and mod'd it to fit Stock Cherokee rims under the axle in the same factory fender wells. Overall about 8" of lift and running a 25" tall tire. Overkill, yes. But for where I'll be going I shouldnt have any issue dragging or major damage. We dont have those awesome weekend wheelin getaways in the mountains here on the east coast. It weighs about 1300lbs seen in the pics below. Tows well behind the wifes WJ, and excellent behind my Cummins.

Nice setup..:smokin: I'm doing pretty much the same thing. I was given a Coleman Arcadia last fall and only have my jeep on 39's to tow with. :D I did a spring over when I got it but with the lil 20in. tires it still doesnt do well. It has alot of amenities but i plan on taking alot of them out due to age and just to simplify the operation.

If you have any pics of the underside and the subframe that would be great

I dont have any right now, but its a simple subframe with supports to the stock frame. Its bolted and welded on.

Thanks HK :)

Believe it or not, I dont have any pics of the inside all made up. Its about a queen size bed inside minus the fenderwells... Here's some pics from the construction process of the inside:

My build is in the trailers and towing, still have alot of work to do on it.

Yea I sleep in it, it's 6ft long and 4 ft wide inside. Just big enough to sleep in. It's super light I'd say AT or just under 1k lb's. I can just about pick the back end up when it's empty.

Thanks
