: Friends of Fordyce Public Meeting 2011
Tinman 04-26-2011, 11:10 AM Put June 4th on your calendars for FOF's 2nd annual public meeting. 9am.
Unlike last year we'll be having it sooner in the year so you can know what our plans are for this year and to offers suggestions or volunteer for our work days. Food will not be provided this year but our meeting location has great reviews.
The meeting will be at the Tower Cafe.
1518 Broadway
Sacramento, CA 95818
JDunn 04-26-2011, 12:33 PM Bret, you scheduled this for Father day weekend? I know a lot of people that would like to attend this meeting and are obviously busy that weekend. I for one have an annual father day wheeling trip and will not be able attend.:(
I think having the meeting early is a great idea! I was hoping for mid-May so we can get the dates set but June is better than October. There is a lot that needs to be done on the trail this year and this is a good place to start planning for it.
WeBilt is ready to help and like I said at the last meeting if a work day is planned and FOF is not able to keep that date for any reason WeBilt will step up and run the work day. I know that our volunteers sometime plan ahead and take off work and we want to make sure we have as many volunteers as possible. Without the volunteers it is hard to complete projects.
I have a list of projects we need to address this year. If you would like to call me Bret we can discuss them. I will PM you my number.
Thanks!

jtraver 04-26-2011, 12:59 PM I agree with Fathers Day weekend not being a good one. I would love to attend and get to help on Fordyce.
Jack
Tinman 04-26-2011, 01:04 PM I know the date kind of sucks but because of personal committments and May holidays we chose June. We actually had June 11th penciled in but just yesterday the TNF sent me a class date for a manditory saw class I need to attend for any Adopt-a-Trail club chain saw work on the trail. The date? You guessed it, June 11th.
We thought that anyone with Father's Day committments would hopefully just be busy Sunday.
Tinman 04-26-2011, 01:05 PM If this turns out to be a really bad date we can also look at June 4th.

jtraver 06-09-2011, 04:22 PM Hey Bret,
If you need a place to have a meeting we have a conference room at my office we could use. I liked Tower Cafe but got a little noisy with the music.
