It is the big field above the jail.. It is where we have had the past events at. It is on the right before you get to evarts you cant miss the sign and you can see it from the highway..

I was at the park board meeting tonight. All hotels and campgrounds are full but keep trying or get on a list. You never know when someone may have to back out at the last minute. We are having primative camping on Verda field. The cost is 10 bucks for the weekend.

Are you going to sell Raffle tickets anywhere other than at the Field? The Cabin at the entrance on Evarts side would be a good place to move some.

Campers are welcome. No power No water hook ups. There is a water spicket at the field and should be working this weekend for people to use.

I'll be heading up Friday Am to shoot some action this weekend, I also have DVD's from the 2010 events held at the Black Mountain adventure park. the DVD is dedicated to Bud Shurd which most of you know who has wheeled in the East coast. Bud was also at just about every event I have been to the last 10 years from rock crawling to rock racing East & West coast. I also want to send out a special thanks to Ricky B Photograpy for the cover shot he sent me to use for the DVD cover.
See you all in Harlan

What a great weekend. We had good weather and a great time. We did not get a chance to see any of the comps down at the field. I am sure they were awesome but It was a blast just riding at our own pace. We hit just about everything in two days. It was very wet from the storms we have had lately. The upper rock garden was a pond. My wife who has not been to Harlan in years complimented the change in the community as a whole. She was impressed with how much an OHV park could change a town for the better. We went to the park when it first opened and i agree the town seems to have progressed leaps and bounds. I only wish that the government would recognize this potential in other states.
