It actually is sitting lower than the zuk did.....There isnt anything in the inside on these pics.....No fuel no nothing....
It will shrink down an inch or two when things are in it and the springs are settled....
It looks a lot bigger in the pics than it really is!

How much does it look like:flipoff2:
MattS 11-25-2002, 10:14 PM I guess it might be just the fence in the back ground and the garage. Does it still fit inside? With bigger meats I'm sure it would look lower. The tin work looks great.
BJ On Roids 11-25-2002, 10:50 PM i was going to say NO!!

woody 11-26-2002, 11:04 AM Matchbox cars always look big with a macro lens....heh heh
Sweet project!! (now go dent it!! lol)
If you hadn't said it was done already, my answer was yes. I started with a primed frame for my FJ40 and had it on the trails 5 weeks later!!
Imkunfused 11-26-2002, 11:09 AM did you ever get power back to the system?? also pull the coil wire again and ground it this time.. last time it went the aluminum manifold.. take it to an actual ground and see if it sparks..
you are getting spark.. your not getting fuel to the injectors.. thats my thought

James we did do that......I think it had something to do with the ground for the distributor or the coil........Im going to try and fix it tonight.
Imkunfused 11-26-2002, 11:23 AM anyone coming over tonight?
Imkunfused 11-26-2002, 11:25 AM the only thing that gets me.. is that you would get it to fire everyonce in a while with the ether.. i dunno.. it definatly has something to do with the spark, but also maybe the injectors..

I think it is a ground, maybe a loose wire or something somewhere....Ill just a few things to a good ground and see if that helps..
Imkunfused 11-26-2002, 01:09 PM the large wire, mabye 8 gauge that was snipped off the back of the motor.. you said looked like a ground.. the rest of that wire comes off the alternator, well at least looked like it.. you will see the large wire on the passenger side of the motor, and it seems to match up to the cut portion perfectly.. doubt it has jack squat to do with it, but you might want to check

Isnt part of it.....That is the cable to charge the batteries.....
The engine is grounded very well, so is the chassis.....
I think its just something with the wiring itself.
lizard lips 11-26-2002, 02:37 PM Looks AWSOME I wish I could get mine done that quick.
Meyer 11-26-2002, 02:54 PM What does it weigh? Couldn't read through all 20 pages yet here at work
TNToy 11-26-2002, 05:01 PM My guess is 2500ish. DSI is doing something similar to another zuk-ish thing... and says he's "right around 2000 just needing a hood". I figure Shanes will end up slightly heavier cuz he kept half the frame, the firewall and heater, added sheetmetal, and so on.
Also, Fatkid is 2300-2500 IIRC, and he's got about as much zuk/sheetmetal as Shane does in these pics.

I think it will come in around 26-2800 lbs....Not sure yet, Ill weigh it when it gets done though.
