picked up a waggy 44 out of a 76 cherokee. I believe this is a centered diff but the yolk is actually offset 4 inches to the passenger side. Anybody successfully ran one of these in a cj5. I don't mind moving the engine and t-case over a couple of inches but 4 is crazy. Not to mention the t-case output is alread 1.5 inches to the drivers side. The CJ is SO right now and I am running a CV in the rear. Anyway to make this happen. Don't really want to spend more money.

Anybody know how much it costs to shorten an axle?

I Shortened the drivers side 4 inches an it is now the same width as a wide track CJ it isn't very hard to do just take carefull measurments. I would also recomend going with Moser they are really slick. If u need any more info email me.
