I am looking for a new bike for next year and my choices are pretty much giant giant and giant. (my team, the cpslo wheelmen are sponsered by them so i get gOOOOOD deals)

anyways im trying to decide whether i should get an ac1 to be my downhill bike or if i should go for a little lighter bike like thier new vt and use that for xc and dh. I allready have a bike that works ok for XC but i like going down hills alot :)

my question is how do you like it and how bad is it going up the hills (cant shuttle my favorite trails around here)

thanks for your input

It's def not a XC bike for sure!
I rode my friends NSR today and it was easier to ped up the hills it just wasnt as fun going down.......... lotsa help huh?

But I like it and could care less if I'm in the first group up the hill!

I have an NRS-1. Full blown XC bike. Its not a down hiller but can withstand a bit of free-riding if you are not a clydesdale.

Slow on the down hills, fast on the uphills.
