well i got my humvee rims back from dean today.let me tell you chanucha came bright and early for me....:D

i cannot believe the craftsmanship that was put into the rims.they are sick.....my buddy asked me what company did they come from .the welds look like a machine did them:eek:

if you are planning on getting humvee's for your 1 tons or even 5 or 6 lugs, and don't go to dean to do them you need your head checked.

he will do them for 100$ a piece . all you have to do is ship them to him just the half shell, and he will take care of the rest.sand blast them weld in the centers and ream out for the lug nuts.

or

if you want to tackle this task on your own.send him 50$ for the centers only...

i know he will kill me but if i was you i would have him to the complete wheel instead.

i know this sounds like a plug for him but,i had seen alot of humvees modified and by far these are the NICEST yet to be made....

thanks alot dean i am so happy i cannot explain now i can't wait till mount the 39.5's on them...:D

i am just waiting for my buddy to bring over his digital camera and then i'll snap like 20 of them ...the only thing is i dont know how to upload them.ya i am pretty much a computer retard...

but,all i have to say is they are the sickest(meaning nicest)rims out there.i really should just keep my mouth shut so i can be the only one with them but he was too nice and hell i am on the east coast anyways...

he can do 5 lug 6 lug also.i dont even know why i waited so long to decide to do them.contemplating on running spacers or modified arms.they are the :nuke: no doubt....

well i will be posting pics as soon as i can...

Not to bag on Dean's work (the centers and welds look good!)

But I am doing some math here:

$400 - 1 set of 4 Hummer beadlock rims (assume local, so no shipping)
$165 - estimated shipping to Dean
$400 - cost for 4 centers welded in place.
______

$965

Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but part of the reason I bought a set of Hummer rims were that they were relatively cheap beadlock solution at $400 for a set of them locally.

But when you start talking close to $1000 - man, my cheap-minded self starts to cringe :(

But feel free to take my comments with a grain of salt - I am an admitted cheap-skate who just last night made a circle jig and used a plasma torch to enlarge the center hole on some rotors for a rear disk brake swap, instead of paying $$$ for a machine shop to do it ;)

fyi check out the six lug application, we had to put in 7/8 ths of a inch spacers in the front for a land cruiser axle and 1/4 inch spacers in the rear to make the flat centers work. mike

well guys to be real honest with you ...humvee rims at one time were 20$ a piece now that they have gotten so popular they are like 50-75$a piece.no one buy any now and wait a bit and the price of them will drop hahahahah SUPPLY AND DEMAND.....

but you guys are forgetting that they are still DOT approved and are double beadlocked and are very easy to ballance,(considering you are running good and even tires) s/h will cost you no matter what.
also this style of wheel is made to measure kind of like and armani suit:flipoff2:

USA 6x6 sells hummer rims w/ beadlocks completely reconditioned with all new hardware, and tube recenter for 185$ ea. to your door, his site says he has the plate centers for 35$ if you want them. I think its a prety good deal. this is a pic off his site.

66CJDEAN'S HUMVEE CENTERS

not daniel or anyone else...:flipoff2:
i know your pluggin him and shit but dont come on my post and do shit like that, besides those are the ugliest fawkin centers i have ever seen.
deans are made to perfection....

also it cost me 9$ a rim to ship them and the 21$ to get them back. dont forget i am on the east coast so thats from coast to coast....

They don't cost $22 to get to me because they don't weigh as much as they do when they leave. The centers add 13lbs to each wheel.
Like Gunracer said though I have heard of some apps where they won't clear the brakes due to the center being flat. I have only made 8 lug centers to date so I am not aware of what ones cause a problem but I'll have 5 and 6 lug centers soon.

Basicly I just need a few people to order them so that I don't have to sit on the whole stack of them. I have a new design for them too that looks sweeeet!
I am also thinking of just ordering some with no wheel pattern so I can then just cut whatever pattern I with the rotory table on the milling machine.

Here are some pictures of my CJDean hummer centers. Never mind some of the axle swap pictures, the project will be done on Friday. The rims look pretty cool. I've actually mounted one on my new 38" SX's and they are bitchin'.
