Howdy Isuzu pirates,

Hey these are some pretty stout little rigs, this one had a chevy eng 3.1 I think

Any way these rigs took me to school the first time I went to change out a axle,

Looked like it would slide out like any other rig, by no, whole thing had to come out,

Anyways, I have a thread on the4x4network called the "Isuzu Jooper"

Troopers never came with the 3.1L, but maybe someone swapped it in for the GM 2.8L that the first gen V6s had...

Now you know why we generally just change the outer part of the CV unless we have to...I have fantasized about a 2-piece diff bracket that would allow quick changes to entire CVs but that is as far as it has gotten.

I have to do a couple of boots and an axle, so I won't feel too bad about dropping the whole axle.

Although I was able to pull an axle without dropping the housing once.
