my 86' jimmy has a 2.8 with a 5spd. i know that the bell housing won't bolt up to a sbc but i've heard that there are bell housings that will bolt up to this tranny and a sbc. if any of you have heard of this or know someone who has done this let me know. if i can still use my tranny hopefully i'll have a sbc at the begining of the year then.
