I need some advice I have an 85 22r on propane. When I started it today it ran real sluggish like it was about to die "cut off," finally after a minute it started running smooth but when you push the gas it cuts out or off. I have adjusted the screws on the the carb and it will not idle up the brass bolt that has threads then tapers off to a point I took it completely out while the truck was running and it didnt idle up but when I tighten it all the way in it almost shut off. I have switched tanks I can hear the mixer running when the key is turned to on. Any advised will be greatly appreciated thanks

Maybe the timing is off? I had the reverse problem...that at idle it sounded like it was going to turn off but sounded fine when you hit the throttle and it ended up being a lose vacuum line

I have looked for vaccum leaks and changed out a few that looked old but that doesnt mean that there isnt one. The timing I beleive is close I will double check it thou.

Sounds more like a fuel supply issue. Check your filters and remember to open the tanks slowly.
