Where can I get unimog brake pads for a reasonable price? I think the calipers and pads are interchangable with the 406/416 axles, but I am not sure. Anyone confim this and/or have a cheap place to get brake pads?

i've seen them on ebay quite often. none up there right now though.

Any mog dealer should have them available between $40 and $60. All of the diesel 6 lug wheel axles will run the same pads/calipers. 406/416/U1300.

The UNIMOG specific pads are notoriously "Hard" and have a tendency to exacerbate the squeal that many disc brake Mogs are known for. There are softer compound pads which are quieter, but will wear a bit faster. Our tour operators require the quieter pads as customers don't like to hear a squeal on the tour truck they are coming down the mountain in.
