Got some 406 mog axles drum brake style I was wondering where you can pick up some parts for them I mainly need knuckle bearings and some other small seals.

also anyone done a pinion conv at home for these some tech would be nice on this picked up the torque tubes with them to try it myself

also, Does anyone have any wheels the need to be liberated from or know a place that doesn't think they are made of gold

did a search but came up with 404 stuff mainly thanks

I would say 95% of the Mog parts dealers on this site have parts for 406's too.

Come on.... challange the system......... Why dont u go the other route and save yourself time in suspension design at the same time. Keep the Torque tubes and fool around with changing the Tcase to Torque tube output or short divorced shafts off the T-case to a fixed frame mounted Torque tube yoke that carries the load. Run torque tube from there to the axle. Drive line angles may become no problemo......

It appears lots of Dirt track sprint cars use Torque tube suspensions. Maybe a parts and info source for ya.

I toyed with the Idea of using the torque tubes the Idea seems like a sound one but I am used to doing triangulated 4 links and I will stick with common knowledge
I have read alot on how much stress the torque tubes displace and since this is a potential comp. rig I don't want to use it as test mule but has anyone done this with the divorced torque tube mount I would like to see it.

Wolfgang made a better housing for his t-case in his Toyota and added strength members to the tranny. My understanding is he has run this Torque tubed suspension on his landcrusier in Competitions for a year or more now.

For wheels and other parts (seals etc.) Definately shop around on the rocky mountain moggers site, there is a comprehensive list of almost all the online dealers for mog parts. one of the is bound to have the parts you are looking for.
