Nice Rig, it is a rebadged 65 model. 350 swap, no tranny transfer case. One rust hole in the bed.

What's it worth?

how could you not keep it, and it has to be cheap with no tranny or trans. case.

Isn't it mandatory for Americans to own a pickup?

Why would a 3 speed tranny have anything to do with the value??

Cheap it was not.

The last 3 parts beauties I got in Louisiana. Same dude had this FJ-45 and I picked it up yesterday.

I have two more right now, a FJ-40 1980 model with 68K that I bought in Arkansas and sold to a guy in Odessa Texas. I am picking it up on Saturday.

The other is a real creampuff.....a 1977 FJ-40 with a thrown rod.

My neighbors LOVE me :D

Man if I had a shop it would be a no-brainer.

Right now, I am kind of stuck with no place to put it except up at Butch's barn. That may be my best option until I get a shop.

I am currently working on Wilbur making my "Camping" rig a litlle more capable. ;)

Especially a Texan! They love their trucks as much as Carolinians!

(a little O/T here... Cali passed some tree hugger law where they will tax the hell out of trucks, and all the Cali sheep were warning everyone that their state could be next.. I laughed. You can't take away a man's truck in this state!)

Have you ever gotten rid of an FJ45...or any cruiser for that matter? You'll HATE yourself if you don't keep it.

Keep it, put a vortec/4l80e and a split case or Atlas, and spring over with some 37" mtr's... I have a '67 that looks very much like yours with a 350/3 spd and it SUCKS to drive.

Congrats! Is that the one that was on the Specter site in New Iberia, LA?

Rusty, you need to delete this offer before Grog sees it.

I figure the 45 would wind up costing you like a wife.............

Sounds like the same terms.

congradulations on the sweet truck and straight tailgate...whatever you do, dont sell it unless its for another one of equal potential or your selling it to me:D,,,it would make a sweet tow rig w/ a similar drivetrain as kate,,,but w/ a nv4500, cheap 14 bolt rear and a/c...or make it even sicker and spring it over, add some 36's, weld the stock rear, shackle reversal it, add scout steering w/ a pump that couldn't turn 29's, spray some flames on it and get some tubing done by mr. wicked fab(basically my p.os.),, just dont bend over in front of him for any reason!

Nolen,

You had better be glad that it wasn't there when I came down or it would have moved a little farther North in Texas. Looks great. I'm jealous.

she lets you have three dunged out old POS trucks  i think you need to give me kate, and keep that rusty old POS 45!!

"whats it worth?" well a bed in that condition, with no rust would fetch anywhere up to $500 or $600 in this country!!

the rest of it with no motor/trans/case would maybe get a couple hundred, maybe a little more depending on the amount of cancer in it!! The whole ensemble might fetch $800 from the right person :p

Although it sounds like half the guys on here are foaming at the mouth just thinking about it!!

whats with that? :D
