I installed a new tank on my comanche and I am having a problem that I cant figure out.


I know about the problems with the resistor coming lose on the drivers side front fender and I have been able to trouble shoot and figure that out before.

The tank that I used was a used tank that I sealed up a few pin holes in and I coated the outside of the tank with POR15.


I was thinking that because I have coated the tank that it is no longer grounded. Does that make sense?

Other than that I am totally confused on what to do??


Any suggestions??

scrape a small area of paint off.
Use a jumper wire with aligator clips on both ends.
jump to frame and or body and see what happens.
