You might be happier spending the money on some good axleshafts ,gears and lockers. :)

Well, it would be VERY simple if you got the front axle out of a f150 or bronco. Bolts right up, but you need to move the buckets out from the frame a little bit. On my BII, it was 2.5 inches. Will be diffrent on an EB. Just need some 1/4" thick 6x3 C channel. Trim to fit. Weld them to your frame, and weld and or bolt your buckets to them. Fullsize is now under your rig. Fab up a draglink and extend your panard bar. BAM! Done. Radius arms will bolt right up.
Now, a F250, you can get some c-bushing wedges and weld them to the tubes. James Duff sells them as i recall. Radius arms and your done.

Good Luck its a adventure once you get started there are so many trick little things to change and improve on that a somewhat simple axle swap turns into a major driveway project my husbands still changing little things but after a 6 month project and my driveway being consumed by "Presious"he's still trying to get every last inch of articulation out of it. Have Fun it is a fun project. :D

Depends which way you go.
1tons and a drivetrain to handle them between them your looking at $2-4k. Just axles themselves will be $1-2k.
Going half ton is just a little cheaper. You got new shafts possibly, new exhast possibly, finding your weak link and changing out that(d-20) and all the misc. shit, which adds up.
But its worth it in the long run, unless you can't drive the thing onroad, but hey thats a personal problem for me at the moment.:D Still worth it though I'd do it again in a heartbeat just differently.

What would you do differently?

portals:flipoff2:

I would sleave my radius arms.
Mabey do a different link setup up front
weld my brake caliper mounts at the right angle:(
Just little refinements. If I had a better dd or one that wasn't being built at the same time:D and extra time to work on it I would have made something more exotic. oh-well theres always stage 3 buildup down the road.:D
