: RE 4.5 lift on 98 TJ making noises mrmagoo1 11-28-2002, 08:09 PM I installed a RE 4.5 super-flex kit. Everything has been torqued to specs.Now I'm getting creaking noises when I take off from a dead start. Anyone have any ideas. I have to drive it to work for the next couple of months while my truck is down so tearing it all down again is out for now. thanks:confused: :mad: The Rockslut 11-28-2002, 08:42 PM Check the rear axle upper control arm bolts on the frame end.
