Seen pix. I don't know that I'd pay 17k for it, that's a lot of dough for something with a 4 banger.

Wish I had the money lying around, I'd love to get something with a motor swap already done. I can do the suspension stuff but I hate working on motors.

Seems pretty reasonable considering you can spend $7K on an ATV.

My advise: search, learn, build it yourself and run later comps. You will have a garage full of tools, a head full of knowledge, a pocket full of cash and a whole lot more fun and satisfaction.

Anything you need to know is on this board. All you need is, patience, perseverance, a willingness to learn....and some cajones! :D

Lol, you said ATV, 7k and reasonable in the same sentence. The only comp rig worth buying is one that consistantly placed high in the scores (like Shaffer's). Anything else probably has a weakness, otherwise why not run it for another season?

I agree with your post, but the "pocket full of cash" seems hard to believe. Last year I bought a Scrambler for $300 with plans of building it cheap. So far I have $800 in a MIG welder, $700 in Oxy torches, $1000 in a JD2 bender, $900 in tires and wheels, $2000 in parts, and $500 in "pre-paid labor" to a buddy. And the best part...I have not even begun the disassembly yet!!

That is the first time I ever added all that up--that hurt when I got to $6200!!!! I better not let the wife see that!
