The speedometer, in my '92 Bronco is dead. The odometer is also out. I'm going to pull the guage cluster out, today, to see if it has come unplugged. If not, where else should I look for the problem? I've checked the plug at the diff. It's ok. The windshield leaks, at the top and drips onto the dash, so I'm wondering if the water has gotten in there and killed something, on me. Electronics aren't my thing, so I can use all the help I can get.
Thanks.

If you have an auto, E4OD, how's it shifting. If it's shifting badly, then that's related to your speedo and is probably a wiring problem somewhere under the chassis. If the tranny is shifting fine, then it's probably instrument cluster related only. Hope this helps you narrow it down.

Seems to be shifting fine. It's the E4OD. Only thing about the shifting, is that it's really hard to tell that it shifts from 3rd to 4th. I forgot to mention that the motor was replaced, recently. Long block only.

Is there any way to test the cluster? The other guages are working fine. The cheapest I can find a cluster is $75. A little too expensive for trial and error.

I've gotten some information, from another board (no, I'm not loyal). The unanimous opinion is that the PSOM is bad. I'm going junkyard diving today, to try to locate one. I'll let everyone know what happens.
Thanks, for your reply.
