I want to run the TW H1 wheels but am not sure if cops will be all over me if I run them on the road..? I know most cops don't really know the laws that well and if anyone has been pulled over for it and gotten a ticket or let go I would like to know.. And if there is a law on the books about H1 being street legal that would be great to make a copy of to show the cop when getting pulled over.. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been thinking of this (and if it matter im out in northern CA)
Thanks for any info
Joe

ive seen plenty of H1s on the road titled as civilian vehicles with the original beadlock wheels. I think the issue woul be that they are recentered or "modified". check local laws and see if they mention modified wheels anywhere.

The wheel centers you buy are not DOT approved, but the wheels are stamped DOT on them in the center piece you will be cutting out. So by adding centers to them would probably fall under the premise of altered and not within the requirements where originally tested.
That being said, I run recentered H1's on my big truck and have never even been asked about them. You would probably have to find a "Buford" that is so hard nosed to have any issues.
