Can the disks on the 8.8 be cut down a little? I have a set and they look a little beat. I was wondering if I could have them put in a lathe and cleaned up some? I have heard some disks cannot have this done. any ideas?

I assume that you are talking about brake rotors(discs), and yes they can be machined. There is a spec stamped into the rotor that is the minimum thickness. Use a micrometer, and measure them, and cut away...
