FAAAWWWWK YEAH JEFF! I'M TOTALLY DIGGIN THE SIMPLE, LONG/SLEAK THING! THAT'S ALOT LIKE HOW MINE WILL WORK OUT, BUT WITH A HINT MORE INFLUENCE FROM WOODY'S OLD CAGE. I REALLY LIKE IT THOUGH, I'VE ALWAYS THOUGHT YOUR CRUSIER WAS ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING... I BEG YOU NOT TO GET CAUGHT UP IN THE TUBING CRAZE AND TUBE IT OUT :(

BUT THAT IS AWSOME LOOKING!

MATT:)

Jeff,

Real clean looking, how many feet of tube? (2" .120?) Is it welded to the tub in that last shot, or is that a weld for a bracket underneath?
BTW: You got free time to build up a cage AND put up Christmas lights! Dang! :flipoff2:

Those are tabs that are welded to the tube, and bolted to the body, but like I said, it's not done. The cage is gonna get attached to the frame.

As for getting caught up in the tube craze, never! My cruiser has and always will be fully functional. I just really wanted a new smaller and lighter cage and I wanted a lower cage. This cage is 2 inches shorter to help fit into the garage.

However, inorder to lighten up my cruiser, I'm gonna chop some of my frame up which is not needed with the 1/4 eliptical set up anyways. But that will mean some added tubing, but only where it's needed! Also, the cage design allows me way better access into the cargo area which I will never chop up! What good is a trail rig without any place to put the camping gear and ice chest!

Time to get a camera Bitch signed up and take them with you on your next trip to the trail!

Your Cruiser looks BAD ASS and I want to see this 1/4 elliptical in action :D

DIG IT!!!

Question, with the cage being 2 inches lower, are you going to lower your seats too? I am so damn tall that when I build me a new cage and make it lower I am gonna have to lower the damn seats too. Which probably means lowering the hood too. damn that seams like a lot of work. :D

I like it! A cruiser that still looks like a cruiser, not a bunch of tubes with a hood on top! :skull:

The seats are coming out for some smaller lightweight racing buckets. They will sit several inches lower than the ones I got now. The cage height is fine in regards to my head right now. Notice the rear bar is angled back, and the side bars are a bit wider.

Nice and simple, I like it. Hey not to change your thread here but do you have any pics of your 1/4 elip. that you could post. If you would rather e-mail them to keep your thread that's cool but I'd love to see some.

Freds40, I'll post a link to a directory, you'll find pics of 4 different 1/4 eliptics in it. Mine, Lances, Timbo's, and Medusa's. Soon we will have a photo album up in the tech dept that will cover this topic.
