Pulled the body off week before last, not too bad to do just took time. Unbolted all eight body mounts and yanked the front clip then jacked up the body. We used a high lift and lifted the right side up and rolled it right off the frame on to the top. It took some strap work pulling on the opposite side of the jack but we go it. Defiantly a weird feeling intentionally rolling a rig! Sorry no photos of the roll. The body striped down weighed in at 1140 lbs. and netted a whopping $18.24! After the steel yard picker yanked it off the trailer, (they shake the body to see if anything they don’t take, rocks, tires, dead bodies, falls out of the car being disposed of) the floor snapped in half due to all the rust! The roof was the only thing holding it together!

Good thing I did not buy the rig for the core 2F. The PO when ask about the motor just said “ah…. No I don’t think you can get it running... but the truck as good tires.” This is #6 cylinder wall opened up so you can see the rod. Convenient!.

my first 55 I purchased about 11 years ago had a hole in the same spot that you could put your fist in! :D

thanks...considering my %% had major roof rust problems...it only makes me wonder about the strength of the vehicle.
