Spankbomb 12-02-2002, 01:29 PM Contact Jeff over at the forums on Cowtownjeeps.com. He was able to get the crew at WMS to square him away with no muss, no fuss.

if not dude ...call brett at afm4x4.com he has them boomerrang ones .really nice set-up im not sure if he has the for d44 but.give him a try....
Pdaddy 12-02-2002, 01:59 PM 3/4tYJ has a page on his site that shows his with a 1.5in spacer and what appears to be an aftermarket hy steer arm, so I assume that the spacers allow clearance, all the spacers I have seen are aluminum for like 5 on 5 dirt track type chit. Anyone no were to score steel ones reasonably priced.
*edit* My 44 is a 3/4 ton hi pinion so the spacers would have to be 8lug, is there such a spacer available?
well i know where you can get aluminum ones which would be the best for you, less weight and they are real stong.http://www.wheeladapter.com/

Thanks I emailed him ,we'll see what he comes up with
Pdaddy 12-02-2002, 02:47 PM Damn you sure I should have gave him your name, he said 100.00 bucks per wheel!
Charly 12-02-2002, 02:57 PM I ran 1" spacers (made by Fred actually) on my 8 lug Chevy 44 to clear the Bob Roggy steering arms (I had the bent ones). I probably could have gotten away with 1/2 or 3/4" spacers, but 1" was the thinnest they would make them.
The spacers help to protect the hubs anyway.
At the time (in late June of this year) I called all the more well known fab shops and no one would build me one for a reasonable price per unit due to the fact that I was "the first" to ask for one, they were still unsure of a market.
So, in the end I got the spacers...and in the very end I got a 60.
rodzzilla 12-02-2002, 02:58 PM Maybe you shouldn't have given him your name!:flipoff2:
Check out AIM Ind (http://www.truckin.com) for wheel spacers

Rockstomper's arms (http://www.rockstomper.com/catalog/steering/highsteer.htm) Would these work?

Yep. I've got Brett's high steer/hydro assist kit for my front sixty in the garage. Very nice indeed.
