Can stock vehicles get into the lake yet? Snow drifts?

there were still some patches on the ground as of today and some good sized drifts in the shade on the way in. Another week at least but probably longer. Lake is very full, absolutely beautiful up there besides the snow.

There are plenty of sections of the road free of snow but many that are not. No, stock vehicles cannot make it into the lake yet.

See? Winter night wheeling in the middle of July. Gotta love it.:D

this was me driving out back to hwy 80 on sat afternoon. this is the worst spot though. easy going down but its real slushy and not much traction. theres alot of water running under the snow so its really off camber in places and there are holes.

Damn I missed out. I am getting that welded rear in this week, sucked I had to turn around, ended up just cruising down to indian springs and camping over at pierce creek area. How much farther did you guys make it in?

Made it to the lake last night in an XJ on 35s. Open front and rear. Only two real bad parts

Ride out was pretty easy. Got held up for a bit on that shady spot bout a mile up from the switchback headin down to the lake. Pretty nasty up by the fork that goes to spalding.

I will be there and locked up! He was a little bummed but we did a little exploring and camped out at pierce creek area and did some fishing so he was happy.

Made it from Indian springs out to cisco... Small amount of snow just after the bypass heading toward the lake and a couple patches on rattle snake. Saw a 4x4 passenger van full of people close to the lake. No worries, but I wouldn't drive my stock Acura to the lake yet. :D
