Thought it would be fun for Fordyce people to show how our rigs have evolved. If you have a picture of your rig in it's early days and then now post up.

I've had Big Rhonda for 24 years. Started as a 1975 Blazer with 350/350/NP203, 12 bolt/44 on 31's. Now it's a couple years older :homer: 454/SM465/NP205, 14 bolt/60 on 42's.

That is pretty cool to see what that ol blazer looked like, and 24 years ago??? Now that is some time you have put into that rig, nice work dude :smokin:

Here's mine nothing crazy since I have only had it less than a year.

Bought it off a buddy, SAS, Duals, Stock axles and 33's

http://i323.photobucket.com/albums/nn444/kdub0013/Yota/photo2-1.jpg

Since then I have setup hi-steer, ram-assist, dirty 30's, 63's, chromo hubs, arp studs, shock hoops and rear bar, spooled rock assault rear with disc brakes and 37's.

sweet.... I'm not stretching the span of tinman but I have 99 over 01 (same 87 yj)...... and today's 84/55 cj7ish .

1st jeep stage 1. 33" boggers 5.0ho, t-18a, tera low 231 30, 44... then 38.5 sx's stretched, dana 300 4:1, d44 front, 35 spl 9" rear.

Black jeep. 400hp roller 350. 465, 5.0 atlas, 60/14 arb detroit 42's, body stretch.

I guess the main difference is the link system. The first jeep got a 60/14 right before I took it apart. My buddy still has it w/ the same 5.0. It's been linked for years and still works killer.

I’ve had mine for 9 years.

When I picked it up it was sprung over with a D30, D44 4.10's and 33's!

I put on some RE springs, black wheels, 35's and changed to propane. Also did a bad job at a comp cut :flipoff2:

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=609942&stc=1&d=1311275623

Cut the body up and tubed the front and rear. 37's full-width D44/D60, 5.38's, ARB front, spooled rear and Chromalloy shafts all the way around. 4 linked the rear with coils, full hydro and added a new cage.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=609944&stc=1&d=1311275623

Added some more sheet metal and some 39.5's TSL's.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=609943&stc=1&d=1311275623

Today it has new 39.5 irocks, beadlocks, doors and looks like it was beat with a baseball bat. The fun of evolution!

i bought my 83 in summer of 2001 right after i got out of high school. funny thing is i didn't even know what i had or what rock crawling was. then people would say "oh those things are great, straight axle." then i met scott and company and over ten years its gone through a few things. the only truly original parts on the truck are the frame, gauge cluster and all the motor accessories minus starter etc. but its still the same truck to me.

http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab234/wheelingtrips/Untitled-1.jpg

in 04 it had been built for a few years but still rocking the push pull steer (scary)

http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab234/wheelingtrips/barrett04.jpg

07, it got a drivetrain overhaul (front locker, high steer, dual cases) and fail camo

http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab234/wheelingtrips/Picture020.jpg

09, mostly all the same stuff but 37's/beadlocks made a big difference. also went to flat black fleet color

http://i867.photobucket.com/albums/ab234/wheelingtrips/Picture107.jpg

11, last weekend at fordyce. mostly the same but i finally ditched lockrights for detroits and exoed considering it rolled in 08 and needed a new cab.
