Any one seen the new Peterson 4wheel and offroad,Im wondering if the traction bar on page 62 is a good set up with the tractor links? Dose any one think a bar is needed up top? or does this single bar work just as well? Also is this tractor link strong enough? Will it bend?Im going to make my own at all cost can some one post some pics also please.. Thanks guys <IMG SRC="smilies/usa.gif" border="0">

I love the tractor links in my Flatty. They do wear out rather quickly, but they are cheap and STRONG!!!!!

I have not seen the one in Petersons.

But this is what I'm running on my CJ:

Here is what we just finished on blatant's YJ:

It sure makes a big difference. We did'nt notice a loss of articulation on either Jeep.

I'm going with the setup above, the single bar setups have not proven to be nearly as effective

HeyBeerMan, what types of ends did you use?

I used Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. They make all different sizes that fit just perfect in 1-1/4", 1-1/2" 1-3/4" & 2" tubing.

I've got one exactly like it exept mine has the tractor links.Hell, a tractor puts up with more vibration/torque/abuse than most jeeps will see.I've had mine built for over a year and it's still as tight as the day I built it..It did taco the crossmember once and rip off the rear end once, but the ends held up just fine so far!

I used the tractor bars also, single bars didnt work near as effective as this. Here is the pic.
