I will be there with probably 6-7 other rigs sat morning. We will either be at the trail head or at cisco at like 8-9 and will be heading in but I'm not sure how far we will go, it will depend on who shows up.

I felt bad for the power wagon guy.. Ouch, we saw him a few times throughout the trip, his buddy deserves friend of the year for heading back in twice with parts... We were busy limping out ourselves. 3 broken motor mounts, a seized alternator, and a dead cherokee

that guy with the blue s10 wasn't having the best weekend either, he bailed out for us (thanks) on the committee reroute with a busted coilover, broken knuckle and a broken front driveshaft. Dead battery too. Hope they got out, it wasn't looking too good. I'd have helped more but we were already towing a truck with a blown up engine. Fun weekend!

My buddy does earn friend of the year woke him up 930am sat requested him for a new steering box and delivery on a trail hes never driven. he was a troopr driving first 7 miles of trail by himself stacking rocks and winching when stuck. We hooked him up with breakfast the next am and to find the box from reibies was bad and sent him through committee trail alone to meet my wife for part drop 2 and a mechanic. Good thing I asked the wife to drop my spare set of tie rods 9pm sunday heading out after second steering box replacement I ran into a rock and ripped the tie rod apart.
special thanks to the folowing for help
Andy Haugher-parts runner
Josh Lewis- faithful co pilot
Paula Smith-wife
Taylor smith-daughter wearing super hero costume to parts drop
Lloyd Starks- mechanic coming out to help with install and check my other stuff
Brian Tilton-phone help and willingness to drive out monday am if needed to tow
Blue guthrie-phone ordering all parts for folks to pick up
various trail folks for advise,Beer after we ran out and entertainment on winch hill 1

Ya that looked pretty hecktic towing that dead 3rd gen up the rocks, hope it all went well.
We made it out after a long day winching and tugging up those last big hills. The firewood suspension and socket wrench steering stud held up. I ended up breaking the rear ring and pinion on my 4runner once we hit the pavement and got 2 separate tow trucks to tow me all the way back to santa cruz.

We had to drag the stocish Cherokee out from comitee after something got wet and it wouldn't run more than 15-20 sec. Some ruff spots to drag a dead truck through
