what is the strength deference between a 30 spline, 31 spline and a 35 spine axles?
How much torque does it take to break each?
Thought I remembered Bobby Long's test breaking the front axle at 10,000 ft.lbs. can anyone confirm this?

which axle are you talking about?
spline count is just that, the number of splines or teeth on a shaft, it really makes no reference to the diamater, durometer or anything else on the shaft....

there are huge 10 spline axles on ag equipment that are probably much stronger than 30 spline dana 60 shafts.....
