I have a 1990 Trooper LS with automatic windows. My A/C doesn't work and I am too cheap to get it fixed considering this is my 2nd vehicle AKA beater. Does anyone have a step by step how to do this the cleanest way possible? I'm not sure which bolts to remove (the inner or outer on the hinges, or the lynchpin like a Jeep?), and I'm also not sure how to approach the wiring. Please let me know if you have any advice!

Are you planning on putting them back on in the Winter?
Does having them line back up properly a priority?
Take them off at the body. This way the hinges won't be hanging up on stuff like skin and other human body parts.
Suggestion before you do, first spray paint around the hinge and let it dry, so you'll know where the line up point is. Never loosen the door side of the hinge or you'll lose the alignment all together. Spray paint will put your alignment marks better than tracing with a pen oir marker ever can.
Isuzu doors are heavy, so use a friend or tie it off to an overhead tree limb before you take that last bolt out.
If your plan is for tube doors down the road I suggest you buy a spare set of hinges from the wrecking yard. Getting doors to line back up on the door side is very difficult. Best to leave them where they are and use a spare set.

Fronts unbolt at the door, rears unbolt on the body.
The front fenders cover the bolts on the body side of the front hinges.
I used to pull the doors this way while wheeling my old '87, and it worked well.
You may have more dificulty with the wire harness. It may be a good idea to add bullet connectors, so it is easy to unhook them when you want the doors off and easy to reconnect them when you want them back on. I didn't have electric windows so that part was much easier on mine.

I unbolted my doors from my hinges then took the hinges off the truck. I figured I would be taking mine off alot so I ground off the heads of then hinge pins and drove them out, drilled it out to 5/16th (the same size as the original hinge pins), and replaced the pins with stainless bolts. Now I can take my doors off quickly and don't have to realign them every time.
