Locked 9" 3rd $100
Dont Know What Its Out Of, Got It On Trade, Its A 9" 3rd Member, The Previous Owner Said It Had A Detroit But Im Not Sure What Kind Of Locker It Is. The Ring Gear Has 38 Teeth And The Pinion Has 12 Teeth So I Think That Means It Has 3.17 Gears But Not Positive. The Outside Of The Ring Gear Has A Small Chip On A Tooth, Can See In Middle Of 3RD Pic.

look at the pictures to identify locker. i am just going on what the previous owner told me. i only count 24 splines, it has 4 sets of 6 splines with a space between them, see pic.

if you count 4 sets of 6 splines with a space in the middle then that should total 28 splines

You can buy a full spool for a 31 spline nine for $120 new. thats about all a 31 spline spooled third with a chipped 350 gearset is worth. a 28 spline will be hard to sell, most wheelers go for the 31 spline or upgrade to a 35 spline.
