UNIMOG 406-416 AXLES FOR SALE! Way better than 404's
Have a pair of disc brake 406 Unimog axles with air lockers for sale. Have a stock ratio of 6.527/1. Have gearing to change the ratio to as low at 4.92/1 available extra. They are still in a running 1980 truck with only 942 hours and less than 10k miles. Price is $3500 for the pair of axles and torque tubes w/driveshafts, without the brakes. Yep, no one wanted it, that is until I parted it out! Then everyone says "I would have bought it!" My reply is "yea right, where were you when it was for sale for the last two months!"

I have nothing to haul them in other than my 416 Unimog, and that is not a long haul driver! It would be cheaper it ship them, than what I would have to charge you in fuel! Just drive the extra 4 hours, I'll buy you a beer or two!

I would love one if it would fit into a Unimog 416, but they are just a bit too long. So I have to say no.
