High steer hydro assist mount
This is a weld on mount designed for use with our complete high steer cross over kit. We can adapt it to other axles as well. As we always do, build to withstand anything you can throw at it. 3/8" thick steel!
While these can be made to work with many different cylinders, the heim joint type end works best. Give us a call to discuss your options and needs and we'll put something together for you. Kit includes the mount itself and a pair of tabs to attach to your tie rod.
For lower lift trucks in the 6" range, you'll want to mount the cylinder in front and below the tie rod. For higher lifts depending on your individual rig, you may want to mount the cylinder on the backside of the tie rod.
Watch your clearances. In front of the tie rod, you can run out of room above the leaf spring with thicker spring packs and EZ inch kits.
For those who are to tight there, you can roll that cylinder to the back side of the tie rod and gain the necessary clearance. Here you'll want to watch the clearance with the suspension at full bump.
This is a call to order item. We need to know what cylinder ends you have.
