STAZWORKS
Due to the length of the old thread I was finding people were not even taking a look at the product so I have decided to compile all the info in the thread and start a new thread What I have is, made to order, double bead locks in 15, 16, 16.5, 17, and 20” sizes. 18's and 22's available soon! These are the most common sizes but I am capable of doing other sizes to accommodate agriculture tires in many different sizes. Since these rims are made to order I can put any bolt pattern in the rim you want. SO if you want 52’s on your Cub Cadet I can build the wheel for it. Multiple bolt patterns also available on the same rim for when you plan to upgrade your axles. Some combinations of bolt patterns just cant be done but when possible I can pilot the second bolt pattern so it will only need to be drilled to a larger size to work with a new axle. Many times the ID will require machining but it is an option worth considering . A little about this design of wheel and what I am doing different. I am using HDPE pipe instead of PVC thanks to "jasonmt" It is more flexible than PVC and can not crack under certain conditions such as in cold weather or during a hard hit. Also the inserts are one piece and will fit into a tire without having to cut it into two halves. For rims that are too wide to fit a one piece insert in the tire, I use two full circle inserts that sit side by side and are tongue and grooved into one another to prevent them from shifting. I am using two full plates for the wheel center, this allows me more options when drawing center designs as well as giving me the ability to do some 3D affects without compromising strength. Most centers are ¼” steel but some designs use 5/16” plates when the design has allot of material missing. This gives me either ½” or 5/8” total center thickness. The plates are held together by 24, 32, or 36 bolts. The bolts are all 3/8” grade 8, yellow zinc plated, as well as the washers and nuts, and the nuts are nyloc nuts. The rims are chamfered to 60 deg. Unless otherwise requested. Rockwell rims are chamfered to a 90 deg. taper to a large dia. of 1-3/8”. Torque specs. For the bolts are 25-30 lbs. This is not set in stone but more of a guideline. Typically I just set the impact to a lower setting and run them all about the same. I feel it is most important to just have them tight to where they will not allow the plates to shift or the o-ring to not seal. I am using a 1/8” o-ring to seal the wheels instead of silicone. Since these rims are made to order customers have the option of drafting up there own center design. The price may or may not change when you draft up your own center. If you have an idea for a center design, just let me know and I can see what I can come up with for a center design. For you guys that want wide wheels that are not listed, the truth is anything is possible, so if you want a rim not shown below it is possible but some rims will require different methods of construction which will add to the cost of the wheel. Every situation is different, but if someone wants a wheel extra wide or with a extreme backspacing it is possible but doing it without adding cost is not always an option. Currently I have a wait period of around 6 weeks. I am always doing new things to try and get turn around time down and the plan is to get down to around 2-3 weeks turn around time by this summer. I am building new jigging for quicker and more consistent setup, as well as fixtures to make parting and grooving quicker and cleaner. Along with this I am also working on a fully automated welding positioner. Here are the new size specific prices 15” sizes 15x10 and under 220$ ea. most any back spacing 15x10-12 255$ ea. 2 pc. I feel truck freight does a better job of getting them to customers unharmed. It is a little tougher to throw a pallet off the back of a truck rather than a cardboard box. As for design most any of the center designs can be made to fit in most any of the sizes of rims. 15's are obviously the most limiting. [SIZE=3]As with any set of rims be sure to check torque on lug nuts often for first couple hundred miles. Nobody likes to have a wheel fall off!! Because of the time and additional costs it would take, we do not test each rim for leaks and without adding additional costs we can not guarantee against leaks at the welds. Also we can not be held responsible for any damge to your vehicle or equipment due to a leaky wheel. We do do everything we can to avoid any problems but with the volume of rims made we are bound to have some problems. Less than 1% of rims have been found to have leaks so far, so it is not a big concern, but something to be aware of. It is recommended that all rims be checked for leaks when first mounted! If a rim is found to have a leak please do notify me so that we can find out why and put more attention to preventing leaks on future rims. Also when notifying me we can disscuss the best way to fix the problem, and if there is anything I can do from here. I will always be more than willing to fix the problems here if you wish to ship them back.

John- Devin loves the wheels and tires. I figured I would show you what they llok like on if you haven't already seen it. The tires are about 47" tall on 20" rims. Both were bought from John. Not a crawler but cool non-the-less.

They are two piece, but they don't have an insert in the middle to lock the bead. He doesn't need the lock for obvious reasons. Here is a better pic of the wheel. He also said that these tire ride a lot better than his old 44" Hawgs. He got the tires from John as well.

The rims are actually double beadlocks. they are 20x12's.
When I mounted them for him, I did put inserts in them as a safty feature. He got everything already mounted. The rims are a little differant than most in that they are a medium duty rim but I machined the inside of the outer half to get any marks left from when the rim was roled. A couple light passes cleans it right up. I think the tires are one of the coolest looking of all the military tires. I was able to find them for him in brand new shape! They are 395/85R20's so they are the 46's. I may be able to get one more set of new ones if someone realy wants them. John

Looking good mike!
I haven't been posting much latly. I have ben in the shop allot latly getting caught up. I am getting a whole lot done. To keep up with competition we are going to start pressing some of the centers on the 20's. I had talked about doing this last fall and now it is time to act on it. We will be doing the stamping in house and it will be available for the 20's only at first. The 20's have the weakest centers because of there size so they are the most important. We will be making the dies starting next week sometime. More news, I will soon be overwhelmed with invintory of light duty 20's. In february I ordered 200 or them and they are just now available. this rim will work great for tires up to 42" with no problems and tires like the 49's when driven right. the pressed centers will be available for these rims in about a month when the dies are finished and are working good. the rims below that are blue and silver are a example of a light 20. Here are some more pics that I feel should be posted here.

Now here is something cool that we just started doing, Notice the rock ring! For those of you that want a cool design in your rock rings but it is too detailed to have cut out of the ring we can now do CNC engravings in the rock ring or in the rim center for that mater. this runs about 10$ per plate depending on the design and drafting time. We are very closly teamed up with a all new machine shop JED Machining. This is the guy that has been doing the doublers for a while now and is now getting into a buch of other areas now that he has purchased a brand new CNC Mill and Lathe, along with a bunch of other equipment. Being tied in with JED's gives me the ability to get very acurate and efficient tooling and jigging which will continue to improve quality and speed in my shop, as well as start being able to produce new parts such as the pressed center. John has been a huge help to my buisness and has came through time and time again when I get in a bind. John Dalton (JED's) took a huge risk starting this dedicated 4 wheel and Offroad machine shop so I hope you guys will give him a chance when time comes for custom parts. He will and can make about anything. Please give him a call if you need anything, JED's machining John Dalton 715-284-8565 One more thing that I would like to be known. Since turn around time has been my biggest issues in the past, I will now be putting a free shipping guarentee on all normal wheel orders. Right now turn around time is 2-5 weeks depending on what is ordered. On a common order I will give you a time frame in that area and will add a two week cushion then the free shipping guarentee. Turn around times on most orders will be guarenteed in 4-7 weeks. This will not apply to orders where I dont have shells and insert material readily available, such as the light 20s that took 5 months to get in. I will soon start advertising in the new Xtreme Offroad magazine, and for the adds, I am asking customers to send me pics of there rigs with a good wheel shot to use as the background pic in the add's. If I find you have the best pic it will be in the mag for the two months the subscription is out. I hope to change the pic for every issue so keep sending pics. So for those of you that have already gotten wheels see if you have any good pics and send them to me please. I have about a week to come up with a good pic to use for the first issue. thanks allot guys, John

All of the wheel blanks that I've seen for 18.4 x 16.1 and 21.5 x 16.1 tires only allow for about a 3" backspacing with 60s with stock brakes. I have made my own wheels using stock 16" wheels and adding a band to them. This allows the wheels to use 4.5" bs. Do you know of any 16.1 wheels that I can
use that have an inner bell that would allow a 4.5" bs? Do you sell 16.1wheels (non beadlock) that would work with a 4.5'' bs on a front Dana 60 with stock brake calipers, Dodge, Chevy or Ford with 8 on 6.5 bc? I'm specifically looking for 16" wide. Gus
