NEW ITEM:

Here you go guys...............these are our NEW 7/8 x 18 weld in inserts for TRE steering links!

These new inserts are bigger, beefier, longer.......than any other similar item on the market.

These have a 1" o.d. solid steel shank that slips into any 1" i.d. tube a full 1 1/4" and provide plenty of contact surface AND the ability to "plug" weld these on either side.

The threaded section is 1.25" o.d. and has flat spots machined on either side for holding the tube with a wrench to counter tightening the Jam nuts.

I am recommending for a bulletproof set up, you drill a 1/2" hole at the end of the D.O.M. (see pic below). weld the end of the tube and a plug on either side........strong

we are also now making our own Jam nuts in 7/8 x 18 thread........ mainly because they do not come with many of the popular TRE's and are hard to find individually.

these are the made from scratch heavy duty 7/8 x 18 Jam nuts. These use a 1 5/16" box wrench........................the 1" SnapOn is for a visual size comparison.
