As part of our testing, I drove the rockers to/from work every day for a couple of months. No noticable wear, no worries with heat or anything else for that matter. I have managed to put a couple of chunks in one of them by violently spinning on a sharp rock, but, to be fair, I was trying to hurt the tire.

Like I said when emailed you a 48" x 14.50" x 20" would be awsome for my buggy... ..anyway why don't you offer some good prices here on the pirate and let red star guy's buy direct from you.Would kind of be a incentive to get a red star and to buy from you.If you offer us a price slightly higher like within 10 bucks of what you sell to your dealers it would help you and us both.I do not think it would hurt the dealers much ethier considering the price would only be here.

Who manufactures the tire for Tire Mart? I know it is sold by Pitbull Tires, but I would like to know who actually produces the tire?

Thanks

Any response on my question?

I have a local dealer here in Ohio and really like the tires. I just want to do my homework before making a big investment. I live right between Akron and Cleveland, so alot of the domestic tires are made in my backyard to speak.

You are correct...a lot of the American made big tires are made in your backyard. Our tires are made in the USA as well.

OK, so that was a nice, politically correct, non-evasive answer. If you would rather PM me the info, thats cool. I don't understand what the big deal is about who makes them? I'm just a consumer that would like some information?

Being that I have lived here in this area of the counrty my whole life, I understand that the manufacturing of the tires is contracted out. I would like to know the company for reliabilty reasons. If it is Specialty Tire of America, which makes many of the tires we all use for offroading, it says alot for the construction of the tire and it's durability.

Thanks for the PM. I appreciate the time you took to reply!

Based on the PM I got, it really looks like Pitbull is in for the long haul and is trying very hard to bring a quailty, proven item to the market.

wish I had a closer dealer to you...that's the closest for now. I'd recommend calling Tyres1.com or ok4wd.com to place an order. They ship all over the country.
