plans

We have plans for larger sizes...but I am reluctant to say what they are going to be or when they are going to come out simply because I don't want to mislead anyone.

As for 20"...no plans right now.

How would the Grappler work on a tow rig? I have a 1999 CTD and I would love some aggressive tires on there. Would they last as long as a set of BFG's, or are they MUCH softer compound. What is the load rating on these too?

As for the Rockers... How do they work on the rocks? Do they have a sticky conmpund like the crawlers?

Southeastern Wholesale is our main dealer in NC 800.849.9215

As for guestimate on price for 37x12350-16.5 - $260 or so...depends on the dealer.

I don't know how a Grappler would work for you...but our Growler was initially designed to be the workhorse tire. I say "initially" because the tire, as it turns out, has worked incredibly well in rock, mud, snow, etc. So it performs much like our Rock and M/T tires.

Hard to say about how long the tread will last. Been testing them for over 8 months with positive feedback. They aren't wearing fast at all. But to give you an answer...I don't know...and won't know for another year or so. Just being honest.

If our tires are tough, flex well, bite hard, ride easy but only last as long as similar tires out there...is it worth it to buy them?

As far as compound, etc. Let's put it this way...we put a set of our Rockers on a stock rig at the Neuroc Championship last fall. The guy running them had never won the event. He won.

We have a great rubber compound...that affords excellent traction, strength and good wear. But like I said about the wear...I can only say "good" right now because our tires haven't been out long enough to know exactly how well they wear.

And remember..."wear" is a direct function of how you have your vehicle set up...how you drive...where you drive...how much psi you run, etc.

I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised how our tires wear.

Anyone ran the the Rocker on the road? They look like the large blocks might cause separations due to lack of heat disipation.

sizes???

Got a question about widths. I saw the tyres1 ad in 4WOR and it stated that there is a 39.5x14.5x17 size available but on the site it states the width as 16.5, which is it? If it is 16.5 why so damn wide??? Most guys are running full widths and running a 16.5 wide tire makes track with feet wide... Thanks, sweet looking tires, might get a set if they aren't really wide. 39.5s were initially going to be 1450s. We decided to come out with larger tires and named them 1650s. Some dealers haven't changed their sites...that's all.

The specs on the 39.5s are 39.5+ OD, 17.50 Section Width and 12.8 tread width...on average.

As for the Rocker being on the road...we have about 200 test tires out there running since August of last year. No heat build up problems...no separations. Our tires were designed to be run on the street as well as bite hard off road.

just to let you know, your site says you have a dealer in Fresno,CA and its East Bay tire. That company is not here. I tried, I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to try these tires, but to much of an inconvience to ship or drive to get.

Should really think about checking on the status of your dealers.

Maybe when these wear out in a year, I will buy your tires.

I thought the same thing, but when I called East Bay's Main 800#, they told me if I wanted a set, they have dealers all over the state, and make at least a weekly runs or more. Call them and ask them to set it up so you can buy a set locally and they will make it happen.

I have a set of 37x13.50x15 Rockers coming to Placerville, you just have to understand that the local tire shops don't have them for you to look at first, that's all.

I'm stoked, can't wait to get them on my rig and see if they work as well as Mike says!!!
