Glen,

I am so sorry for the delayed wait on your part. I have emailed you. Your part has shipped. We do apologize for the troubles.

I will be calling you in the morning. Thanks for your patience.

I ordered the brackets to convert my manual bender to air/hydraulic and I had a great experience. I called talked to him ordered and I wanna say I had in 3-4 days. It showed up before the bender I ordered from another company on the same day.

this may have been a lost package by the shipper. unfortunately, in all fairness copperhead, you guys need to work on how you package your kits. your stuff is pretty good, but you cannot loosely package steel pieces in a cardboard box and expect it to stay in one piece with the monkeys in the shipping companies throwing boxes around like a football. i have ordered stuff from you, and yes you did make it right in the end. i ordered some diff covers, they never arrived. when you finally sent out the second set, i found out why. the box was torn from the loose pieces inside hammering around. luckily nothing was missing, even though one piece was hanging out ready to fall out. the other suppliers on here such as ORD and DIY4x take some time to package with bubble wrap and tape. i have never had a problem with thier stuff showing up intact. it would make situations like these non-existant.

i have a friend that works for UPS, he said that when a customers packaging is destroyed and it can be found that they are at fault for not taking time to package it right, then a lost package claim can be denied. just a FYI.

X2, copperhead does sell great products, but that is just part of the business. You have be a business. Which means great products(check), fast complete shipping (soso), customer service(soso). You guys make great products, and are reansonable, lets clean up the loose ends so this thread doesn't get out of control.

...but the air over hydro conversion kit isn't one of them.

They may have gotten better but the kit I recieved long ago was terrible. Spacers were out of parallel, holes were the wrong size, etc.

I threw everything out bot the main plate and made the rest from scrap steel I had lying around.

I hope they have fixed their quality problems. Best of luck to you and to CF.

Copperhead is a local business for me and us locals are having the same problems as you guys. No one answers the phone and rigs are sitting in the shop for weeks/months waiting to be completed. I have never ordered their products and because of everything I've read on Pirate and our local 4x4 site, NEVER will. Thanks for posting your guys' stories, it really does help potential buyers from losing money & having to deal w/ their b.s.

All of these known issues are being addressed. Thanks to everyone for your input as these are all instances that can be avoided. It is what our customers need when they spend there hard earned money and to help make everything flow better.

Thanks

I guess I will look elsewhere for my parts, Customer satisfaction is not a priority with this one.

I guess "these known issues" are NOT being addressed! If I could only get them to answer the phone or email, I think I'd be O.K. Ordered parts from them and they don't seem interested in shipping them out nor returning calls. Wish I would have checked this thread before ordering from them.

Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!

Copperhead Fab (James) is a crook. How many examples do people need before they stop doing business with them? They have showed time and time again they can't do anything right. There are plenty of great fab shops out there. Don't do business with Copperhead Fab unless you want a headache.

I know it's beating a dead horse, but James still has yet to settle up with me from Sept of 2011. Figure it's a lost cause, but might as well keep others aware.
And just to warn the Southern California people his shop is now in Hesperia, Ca

Phone: (760)514-1672

Copperhead fab is a crooked business

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm having a bad experience with copperhead fab, won't answer his phone, won't email back, it's been almost 3 weeks since I ordered my h1 wheel centers and I have nothing. He is a crook and I've made a claim with paypal to get my money back. I had him make me a set a year ago and got them in less than two weeks but now he took my money and won't contact me. What a prick!

Yep. There is a thread in chit chat where he stole donations that were made for another pirate member. He FINALLY somewhat made the situation right after a few months but had a shitty entitlement attitude about it. He's a turd.

edit* Actually post #15 in this thread will take you there
