Don't where to post this
I bought a t-case off of here from someone. It was shipped via UPS with a guaranteed delivery date. It didn't show up on this date. UPS called me and stated that the full shipping price is due to be refunded, and that the seller needed to call to start the refund process.
I contacted seller about this and he said he would call UPS. It has been weeks and I have not heard back from seller. I bought the t-case for $150 shipped to me, the ad stated $150 shipping included. Do you think I should be receiving some money back? |

UPS CALLED YOU to say that the Guarnateed Service Refund (GSR) was due....that would be a first in the history of UPS! Let me call the customer to say they get their money back for the shipment...not normal, but ok....
A GSR Refund with UPS takes 1-2 billing cylces to process back to the shippers account. It may take him 2 months before he sees those funds. A suggestion from experience....call ups, give them the tracking number, tell them YOU ARE THE SHIPPER (Your shipper number is the first 6 digits of the tracking number) and you want a GSR refund. They will verify the GSR is do, and tell you it will be reflected on the account in 1-2 billing cycles. Done. The call takes 3-4 minutes, and your shipper just lost his excuse of not having the time to "file" with UPS. UPS will also give you the "credit" amount going back on the account. Call your shipper and ask for the funds once they have been credited. UPS pockets literally Millions of dollars a year from unclaimed GSR refunds. While they will honour the GSR's when officially requested, they do not go out of their way to advise people this option is available. When tracking a UPS shipment, more than likely if it says "exception" and has a reason for a delay, you are due back the shipping in the form of a GSR refund. This also applies to GROUND packages, not just air. Cheers, Scott
