Mike Shaffer, here's your chance to speak.

Mike,

Two years ago and just recently you took money from my credit card, about $12,000.00 (yep 12 thousand), to this day you have not sent the parts that I ordered. How do you stay in business if that is your attitude?

Yes I'm sure you know who I am. Just because I'm overseas doesn't mean you can fawk me.

So tell me, when are you going to send me my parts? Many times your staff say that they have sent it, what crap is that?

Come on man, you advertise on this site, I thought you were a reputable shop/person.

This is your last chance to get it right.

What do mean by that ? are you suggesting that we would delete this thread just because we are friends with Mike or because he advertises on Pirate ?

Because it's been done before.Broncomaina had a problem with him over some gears and the original post dissapeared.I'm not saying it was you or Lance,I'm just saying it was removed. My earlier post(that was removed) had a link it in about Broncomania's deleted post.

Yes Jujo, I am well aware of who you are. I would have apreciated if you would have told the entire story in your initial post.

You called in late 2005 and ordered just over $5000 ( Five Thoushand ) dollars worth of parts, and the associate you spoke with took down information that you were from India. And would be using a shipping agent out of Los Angeles CA. Who had a container full of items for you, just awaiting these few item's from us before it was sent. Your american express was charged in 2 increment's for your parts, And your part's were then ordered.

It was several months, yes months before anyone at the shop had heard from you again with any information on where to ship these parts. All part's were in the shop, on a pallet, and ready to ship at this point in early 2006. You had said you would E-Mail a shipping agent's contact information and a Credit Card number for shipping payment. An Address arrived a few day's later, but no payment information, we contacted the shipper who had never heard of you, and had no container waiting to ship to you. We E-mailed you back looking for further information, with no responce.

A Year later, pallet still in our shop, covered in dust and buried in a corner now, you call and are interested in ordering more part's and had payment for shipping, and when you E-mail the items list looking for a quote, you have a new E-mail address and no reccolection of why there was no contact for over a year. Against better judgment we took your 2nd order, and charged your new american express, then began to order parts. You even spoke somewhat extensivly with Mike over the purchace of the Sidewinder Moonbuggy, but what made little sence, was that you wanted it shipped to Australia, weren't you from India in 2005? Many E-mails were exchanged, and once again you just vanished. Months later, with all but one special order item ready for shipment, along with your previous pallet of parts, you reverse the charges on your credit card.

Months go by yet again, then this post pops up on Pirate4x4. Our shop phone number has never changed, and we have been in the same location in Carson City Nevada since the first time you made contact with our company.

We are more than willing to get your pallet out of the shop, it has been taking up space for 2 years now, if you could arrange pickup for it this time, since we are never able to make contact with any of the agent's you say have containers waiting for you, it would be greatly apreciated.

And again, our office is open 9-6 monday through friday pacific standard time, and our phone number is (775) 885-9944

I will step in and answer this question for you. Every customer who has posted here, once we resolve the problem with them, we ask them if they will delete the post, and with the exception of one customer who had limited access and said it was ok to have the mod staff here at pirate4x4 remove it, they have all taken them down on their own.

Dude, I know you are defending yourself, but I keep note of every phone call and email I have sent, I could post it up here, but it wouldn't look good on you. I'm not the one to create trouble. And God knows how India came about. My shipping agent actually called you too, he too billed me for that so I have a record of it.

I sent you my address from my first few emails, plus the numerous faxes, phone calls.

Come on, if you could charge me again for my second order then you know my cc number to send my pallet of parts.

Why did i reverse the charge? Well, Izzy told me he sent the parts himself personally (1st order) then a week later my rep in the US told me he has received nothing from you. And after many many phone calls, emails to ask for a tracking number Izzy writes me an email saying he hasn't sent the pallet. What did you expect me to do? Just sit and wait another two years?

Anyway, I hope my first order of parts are still with you. I am patient and I forgive mistakes.

I'll call you soon, and this time, please pick up the phone and not avoid me.

Jujo.

you are severely misinformed and just spewing shit that you have facts about.
not threads have been deleted before the issue was resolved.

Broncomania's thread was deleted after he was shipped a BRAND NEW set of GEARS to replace the USED gears he purchased that had a chipped tooth.

there is no conspiracy or cover up going on. just idiots like you without a clue

Very, and I shit u not, I can very easily post up all the correspondence emails etc that I sent and received.

But let's not get to that. I've been extremely patient and Mike has been nice enough to contact me to get it right.

So I will delete this post when it is right.

Fair enough?

post it up if you feel that will help your case.

patient is not the word I would use to describe your actions, I think negligent more fitting.

either way.

Mike is sitting by the computer waiting for your email, watching the fax machine for your fax and has the phone in his hand waiting for your call. make it happen

Let me remind EVERYONE of this forum's rules.

If you don't have factual information to add to a thread: don't post pad and talk trash.

Keep it clean, again, if you don't have anything to add to the thread, stay the out.

If you are caught post padding you will be warned ONCE. After than you WILL be banned. That's a free 7 day vacation. So think about what you are posting before you hit submit!

If you don't follow those rules I WILL delete your post and give you a 7 day vacation from PBB.

You can ALL consider this your ONE warning.

Everybody just chill out ok.

I have just spoken to Mike and it seems that it has been sorted out.

Once again, when my parts are sent I will pull this post down.

as said above, i requested that my entire thread be deleted. that was what i said i would do in my original post if this matter was promptly resolved and it was. the part that was deleted that he is talking about was in a totally different thread (porc bad seller thread). i am happy with pbb and shaffers off-road.

let me add this: everybody makes mistakes. everybody deserves a second and sometimes a 3rd chance. how many times in life have we all fucked up and then realized we made a mistake and wish we hadnt done it. shit happens by accident and on purpose. im not here to preach by no means but GOD says to forgive people no matter what they have done to you. it would be different if mike was not standing up and making things right with people.
shit happens , he has been fixing it. im not defending anybody either. im simply stating the facts that heppened between us since my name was brought up in here. i normally buy stuff at jeffs bronco graveyard but if the time comes and i need something from shaffers, i will not hesitate to call. because mike shaffer made it right and apologized to me. that goes a long way with me. thanks.
