Any contact from DC? I ordered a SYE KIT+DS, installed the SYE just in time to hear DC4WD had fell off the radar:

As the above thread says DC made contact, and said he would refund the DS.
I asked him to call me for the Credit Card Info and it has been a week. , just waiting,,, waiting for you sweetheart!

Some other guys have it worse than me.

We were ordering gears from them and went 3 weeks with no contact! Finally he returned an email and said do to family illness they were closing the doors? And that has been over a month ago.

That sucks guys. DC is definitely one hell of a stand up guy.

It sounds like he just might not get back to folks as soon as he really should. I wonder if teh PBB powers can help out.

I hate to hear that. I have done quite a bit of business with DC and have never had anything but a good experience. He has always been very prompt in returning my calls or emails and I always received the shipments on time.

Sorry you have had a bad experience but I am sure DC will get you taken care of. He is definately a stand up guy.

I ordered Alloy shafts in early March... and was told 30 days or so... then I see the thread that he might be closing down, so I got concerned and tried to call him... nothing... then I called Alloy to see if my shafts had even been ordered, according to Ryan in Alloy customer service they had not been ordered as of 03/28... now I'm really concerned because my card was charged on 03/11...

Numerous phone calls, 4 or 5 e-mails, 4 or 5 PMs on pirate and nothing in return so I finally went to my card company to get my money back... disputed the charges.

To date I still have not gotten any responce from DC by any means, I hate to see a good vendor drop off like this...

sweet jesus I could cry. Everything I that I needed that wasn't custom came from him. His prices were by far the best. The competition didn't even come close. I dont know how the hell I am going to finnish my jeep now.

I find it very hard to beleive that your bank won't let you dispute a charge you made.

I had a bad charge on my card a couple months back. I walked into my bank and explained my dispute of the charge. They gave me my money immediately, and opened a case against the charge.



My best suggestion is for whoever might know DC, and is just standing in the shadows of this thread, to try and get him online, and refund any money he may have taken, and close down for good if that's what he was planning. Atleast make some contact with his distributors and finish up what he owes.

If he continues this, he is looking at some pretty serious charges.

Give him till the middle of this month, after that, I would suggest getting his and your local police departments involved.

even though their site is still up his the business is currently no longer operating i would advice a lawsuit against him if you want your money back the phone number given is disconnected he no longer responds to emails or pm.

contact law enforcement for further details

or a lawyer

Paying with a CC is the best thing you did because you have re-course... I got my 485 back for my axles, just called the card company and disputed the charges for undelivered items. Three days later I have a credit to my account.

As for lawsuits and charges... if DC can get on here or in private to get peeps thier moneys back then I don't see any point in kicking a man that is down. Then again I already got my money so I no longer have a dog in the fight, just my $.02

I agree with Slapahoe, that somebody on Pirate lives near DC or even knows him personally... tell him to log-in and fix this. Fixing it no matter what kind of hard times he has fallen on is the RIGHT thing to do especially if he ever wants to do business again.

I was told I had no recourse on the phone with Wells Fargo because I used a debit card.
I walked in the Bank, in 10 days Wells Fargo will credit my account and start a resolution with DC.

i know someone who is pretty good friends with dc and i called him to see what the deal was cus me and a couple of my buddies needed to order some stuff and he said that he wasnt able to get a hold of him. he said he tried calling his cell and leaving voice mails but has not gotten any replies. it sucks cus dc was the best dealer i knew.

this sucks, i used this company last year for a bunch of parts. cheapest i could find and my stuff was here in less than a week.
