1 month later... no money, no blower

well, i gave it a month before jumping to conclusions.

BEWARE OF MONGREL. after a couple of phone calls we agreed that he would send a money order for my 22r camden supercharger and i would ship the blower upon receiving it. well, over two weeks went by and no m.o. finally he calls to say he checked the tracking # and the m.o. was last seen in N.M.? and tells me at this time that he was starting to think i had gotten it but was trying stiff him...however, was relieved to find otherwise. this call took place on wed aug. 6th.
during the same conversation, he says that he is getting paid again on the 8th and that he will overnight a new check as he desperatly needs the blower for an upcoming trip and wants me to have it packaged and ready to send out on sat. aug. 9th as soon as the check arrives. no prob.
well, i decided to help the guy out and i sent the blower out on fri. the 8th to help out. at which time i called and texted paul to let him know. his response was "very very cool, thank you so much"
i was not upset when no check came sat., or mon. or tues....but the next thurs. after more than a dozen attempts to call mongrel, i finally sent a text saying that i hoped he had gotten the blower but where was the money? the text i got back was "dude i'll be shipping this back to you. i don't know what it fits but its even close to 22r" he says it must be 20r.
i responded that "shipping it back was fine but send back the $37 i spent to ship and please don't rob it for parts and btw i don't think that two m.o.'s were lost in the mail and ...kinda fucked up that i went outta my way to help you out and you never intended to send the money...why won't you answer my calls?"
after 2 weeks and no response, i texted pual again, this time "it's been two more weeks, don't send the blower back now just send the money. btw this is going on pirate in 24hrs" this was thurs. aug 28th
return text said " it shipped out yesterday, i'll send you the tracking number" so i assumed that it shipped back to me on wed the 27th.
well, it is now sept. 4th and i have no money, no blower, no tracking number and the guy WILL NOT answer my calls.


disclaimer...NO, I SHOULD NEVER HAVE SHIPPED THE ITEM W/O PAYMENT. however, i know how it is to need the parts desperatly so as to make the next ride. never the less, mongrel(paul vest) obviously never sent (or intended to send) any money for this item.

thanks for the info, i never saw that one coming.

1st. if i cashed a money order, how did he get it back two weeks later?

2nd. mongrel was very excited after i emailed the pics saying that it was excactly what he was looking for ESPECIALLY THE MANIFOLD.

3rd. if i did something wrong, how come this guy won't answer his phone? that seems a little reversed

does anyone know how to link up a text message? that would shed a whole new light on this.

also. mongrel stated repeatedly that HIS camden supercharger had come apart and that it was cheaper to buy mine than to buy the parts.
if you search you'll find on 8/9/08 that he has posted the pics i sent to him and asking questions about camden super chargers...(not that i do) but it doesn't sound like a guy who's ever seen one before.

AND, I DID SAY TO PAUL IN THE BEGINNING THAT IF IT WAS NOT WHAT HE NEEDED HE COULD SEND IT BACK AND THAT I WOULD JUST HOLD THE CHECK UNTIL HE WAS SURE.

I NEVER GOT ANY MONEY ORDER AND PAUL HAS YET TO RESPOND TO MY QUESTIONS AS TO WHY

Small45 is a very honest/nice person, thats why he shipped it the way he did. There aren't many people like that around anymore because of fucktards like Mongrel. Shit really pisses me off

i'm sure if i did get the blower back at this point it would not be in good condition. my initial feeling was that he intended to rob it for parts to fix his, but after reading his post, i'm doubtful that he really even wheels let alone has a blown 22r powered buggy.

btw...the deal was for $950 dollars and included the shipping(at pauls request). the blower was new, not used and is clearly marked with CAMDEN cast across the top and a tag with serial and model # on it.

I think I know who this guy is....and the crew he runs with...if I'm not mistaken they are the same crew that was tearing up land at Tellico and they almost ran over a kid at the top of slickrock(not the kids fault either, they were trying to make a new "exit")...we nailed them with pictures of licence plates after they became a bunch of asshats....that got emailed to the ranger station. The majority or of their crew runs propane powered toys with turbos 2 of them are red. Boggers in back and TSL's in front.

with a skip tracing program you can do a serch for someone and their back round ect and with enough data you can narrow it down to include credit reports.
