Hello - poof and superduty03 - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

WELL TO START I AM NEW TO PIRATE AND IF ALL SELLERS ARE LIKE THESE TWO THAN I DON'T WANT TO BUY ANYTHING ON HERE AGAIN
1ST I PURCHASED AN ATLAS 5:1 T-CASE FROM SUPERDUTY03 THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO BROKEN PARTS.

WHEN I GET IT I START LOOKING IT OVER AND FIND THAT THE FRONT SEAL CUP HAS TWO BROKEN BOLTS. SO I SENT SOME PICS TO HIM AND ASKED HIM ABOUT IT, HE RESPONDED TO ME BY PM ON HERE http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/priva...m&pmid=3374513 SO I GUESS I AM STUCK AFTER PAYING HIM $1950 FOR A T-CASE THAT HAD 1 RUN ON IT TO BUY THE PARTS TO FIX IT ALSO.

2ND I PURCHASE A USED GOTPROPANE KIT FROM POOF /forum/engines-trannys-t-cases-sale/747485-propane-kit-gotpropane.html I GET IT AND THERE IS NO INSRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALL, I AM PRETTY GOOD WITH MECANICS SO INSTALLING IT SHOUDN'T BE TO HARD TO FIGURE OUT, WASN'T REALLY HOW TO INSTALL IT THAT I WAS WORRIED ABOUT IT WAS HOW TO TUNE THE KIT ONCE INSTALLED. SO I REPLIED TO THE POST FOR THEM. GOT NOTHING, THEN I CALLED GOTPROPANE AND TALKED WITH THEM ABOUT E-MAILING THE INSRUCTIONS TO ME, HE NEEDED TO KNOW THE PERSONS NAME THAT I HAD PURCHASED IT FROM, MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS TO GO TO POOFS PUBLIC PROFILE TO GET HIS NAME, AGAIN NOTHING. SO I SENT POOF A PM ASKING ABOUT THE INSRUCTIONS ON 1-29-09 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/priva...m&pmid=3417264 AND AGAIN HAVE GOT NO RESPONSE FROM HIM
SO IF ANYBODY KNOWS HIS NAME PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO THAT I CAN CALL GOTPROPANE BACK AND GET THE INFO I NEED FROM HIM TO GET THE KIT INSTALLED AND RUNNING PROPERLY

trouble free & up front. don't give up, a know of several
problems that have been resolved here.....

Well i got a response from poof and want to say thanks it looks like he is trying to help. I called gotpropane and talked with cary and he is going to e-mail me the info. Thanks again to poof and gotpropane.

This is what he sent me after i called him about the problem. and i recently ordered the parts from a local offroad shop so i don't know exactly how much this piece is that has to be replaced. i should know in the next day or so

"Hey Craig, just wanted to apologize about the broken bolts, were thinking that maybe it might have been that way since we got it but it's hard to tell. If there is anything I can do for you then let me know, and sorry again for the inconvenience.
