Polyperformance sells bad parts knowingly?
About 2 years ago I ordered uni balls and cups/clips for my lower links.
Installed them 3 trips later a friend noticed the clips were coming out of them(holds the joint in). Talked to a competitor that echoed the same problem i'm having ,he got rid of them. Called Polyperformance was told that I must of gotten debris in them while assembling(3 of the 4 failed). When they were disassembled there was no debri but they had not been machined properly. Asked to have them replaced with heims they declined and sent 3 new cups. I informed them my lower link material is chromo so repeated welding will make them brittle. Received new cups after several torturous phone calls and mixed up parts. Welded new cups in to try them. Now another clip failure......... I called them back and informed them I was having the same clip problem now they tell me the old ones had clearance problems....so now I knew they were aware of the problem possibly the 1st but definitely the second time around but still sent me the same faulty parts. So I ask to have them swap me for heims and tube adapters and replace my link material. He tells me he'll gladly give me 25% off a purchase of new heims. Or I cut the faulty parts off(uniball and cups/clips) and mail them back on my dime for a refund. Then sarcastically says "uh ya and uh I'll send you new link material." not asking for the length needed. So now I have some chromo links that have been welded twice that are questionable safety wise and will be 4 inches shorter after being cut for a 3rd time. Here's what I think is fair.....since he sold the parts knowing the were bad.......twice! 1. Replace uniballs and cups for heims and tube adapters. 2. Replace my link material. I'm where I'm at because Ive done what you have asked....well your parts failed again.......... now do the right thing.

here is what I think is fair.
stop trying to use Pirate4x4 to peer pressure vendors for free parts. You know this thread is Bullshit and now I do too. nothing was wrong with the parts but your lack of maintenance and failure to use the parts the way they were meant to be used. you abused the parts for 2 years and now want to change to a heim and want free stuff. not gonna happen camo |

Poly Performance is a stand up company and they stand behind their products. I have never had any problems with any of their parts, service, or staff. They always "got what I need" and help me get it done right. So STFU

I agree with everyone on here. They have done what they should do with offering you a full refund. Now STFU

You did not notice the faulty machine job during the install?
Whats faulty about it? 2 years... thats a long warranty, you should take them up on that more than generous offer. |

Not only did they offer a full refund on 2 year old parts, but they offer to give you 25% off on heims?
They should be posting here about you trying to scam them, I would tell you to get fawked. |

Poly is a great company to deal with. I messed up ordering the wrong parts. They let me ship back and they even sent me the right parts cheaper! Great company in my book.

I have nothing but first class dealings with Poly, and will purchase products from them anytime with zero concerns. Camo nailed it just like he always does

Well, I went to a Ford dealership and purchased a tie rod end for my Bronco and it failed after 8 years. I want a new Bronco! I think that's fair, now do the right thing Ford!
I just checked with a few friends, and they said paragon is right. |

On a side note, was I reading right that they only failed after 2 years of COMPETITION use?
That actually sounds like a pretty decent product.
