The transaction was handled through PM's and started 12-17-09. I sent him a postal money order on 12-21-09 and didn't hear from him for 2 weeks after that. Then he replied back to me on 1-5-10 that he had been out of town longer than expected and would ship asap. 1 week later he calls me on the phone and asks if I or someone at my house refused the wheel, this was not the case, so we verified my address and he promised to ship out again the next day. After that I haven't gotten any response from him either by phone, email, or PMs. He hasn't been on this site since 1-5-10 and the other 2 sites I have track him to haven't been accessed since 2-10-10.

I am starting to believe he is just a scammer that travels from site to site taking peoples money.

On the other hand maybe i am just not meant to have a spare H1 wheel, another deal I had on a set of 4 with tires also fell through(Also a Pirate4x4 member). I Didn't lose any money on that one though so i don't really care.

I have a recommendation for all who buy/sell online - - USE PAYPAL its cheap, easy, and safe. It is also a good indicator when someone will not accept paypal that the deal may go south.

I love paying by pay pal, but have heard WAY more than one horror story about trying to collect from pay pal.
Guess I wouldn't condem anyone for NOT taking pay pal.
